James Roger Burns, 67 of Brandenburg, died Friday (03/06) at University of Louisville Hospital. He is survived by his, Carla; three children, Jennifer and Jay Burns and Julie Meiers; 15 grandchildren and a sister, Judy Barnett. Funeral services will be at 3 Eastern Wednesday (03/11) afternoon at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Weldon Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 Eastern Tuesday (03/10) afternoon and after Noon Eastern Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family to aid with expenses, or to the Disabled American Veterans.
