Harned Woman Arrested Following Hit-And-Run Injuring Her Son

GARFIELD (03/05/26) — A Harned woman was arrested following a hit-and-run incident late Thursday afternoon in Garfield. According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, 52-year-old Connie Fraze was involved in an argument with family members when she tried to leave a residence along East Highway 60. Her son tried to prevent her from leaving due to her being intoxicated, when she struck the son and drove away. The son was transported to Breckinridge Memorial by Breck Central EMS with unknown injuries. Fraze was located later at Augie Doggie’s at Garfield where she was taken into custody. She was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center, Fraze was charged with wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, resisting arrest, escape, and assault- domestic violence. The incident remains under investigation.
