A two-vehicle crash Wednesday (2/25) night in Elizabethtown resulted in the death of a 40-year-old Elizabethtown man.
The crash occurred around 6:30 PM ET at the intersection of Ring Road and Ruth Drive, just west of the Patriot Parkway intersection. A preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota SUV being driven by Theresa Boldt, was attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Ring Road when it crossed into the path of a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Matthew Reese.
Reese was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with critical injuries where he died from his injuries. Boldt was not injured. The accident remains under investigation by Elizabethtown Police.
