HARDINSBURG (02/25/26) — Units from Hardinsburg, Harned and McDaniels Fire Departments were called to the 23-hundred block of West U.S. Highway 60 across from the Texas Gas facility just after 11:30 Wednesday night on a report from a Sheriff’s Deputy of a structure fire. According to Hardinsburg Fire Chief Nathan Smith, crews were able to knock down the fire in an office trailer quickly, but the structure suffered heavy fire and smoke damage. The cause appeared to be an issue in a HVAC unit.
