
TELL CITY, In. (02/23/26) — In the wake of a recent increase in viral and respiratory infections, Perry County Memorial Hospital has implemented changes in visitation policies. These will be remain in effect for the few weeks.
They include…
- No visitors with respiratory/viral symptoms will be allowed in the hospital
- Symptoms include fever of 100.4 or more, sore throat, cough, runny or stuffy nose, chills, headache, body aches and fatigue
- No visitors under the age of 16
- Limitation to two visitors a day
The hospital also states visitors are encouraged to wash hands frequently while in the hospital and wear protective face masks when instructed.
