CLOVERPORT (02/22/26) — Firefighters were called to a report of a structure fire off Highway 105 around 5:30 Sunday afternoon. According to Hardinsburg Chief Nathan Smith, units arrived to find a detached garage and shop well involved in fire. Units worked to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby trailer and construction equipment. No one was at home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported and a cause was not immediately determined. Units cleared the scene around 7:30. Harned and Dukes Fire Departments, Breck Central EMS and Breckinridge County Emergency Management also responded to the scene.
