LEBANON JUNCTION (02/17/26) — A Larue County man was killed in an accident Tuesday along Interstate 65 near Lebanon Junction. The E’town post reported northbound traffic had slowed due to a previous collision near the 106-mile marker. A vehicle driven by 29-year-old Drew Cookenmaster of Hodgenville struck the rear of a tractor trailer. Cookenmaster was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner. The operator of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
