BIG SPRING (02/16/26) — A one-vehicle accident Monday on Kentucky 333 between Corners and Big Spring left one man with minor injuries. According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, a truck driven by 21-year-old Shawn Guess of Irvington was eastbound in the ten-thousand block of 333 around 7am when the vehicle hit a patch of black ice, ran off the right side of the road and snapped a utility pole. The truck overturned and struck a tree. Guess was treated on scene but not transported. Breck Central EMS, Custer Fire Department and Brandenburg Telephone Company all responded to the scene.
