Breckinridge County Grand Jury

2/11/2026—The Breckinridge County Grand Jury met Tuesday, February 10, and returned fifteen indictments.

Michael Goode, 60, Louisville, was indicted for 1^st degree bail jumping.

Tayis N. Mills, 27, Custer, was indicted for kidnapping/adult; 4^th degree assault/domestic violence; and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

John Whittaker, 23, unknown home, was indicted for 1^st degree rape.

Daniel R. Curry, 25, Harned, was indicted for 1^st degree fleeing/evading police; two counts 1^st degree wanton endangerment; four counts 1^st degree wanton endangerment/police officer; 1^st degree criminal mischief; and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, 2^nd offense.

Alicia M. Norris, 24, Irvington, was indicted for 1^st degree wanton endangerment; 2^nd degree assault/minor injury; and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Ashton L. Burton, 25, Muldraugh, was indicted for 1^st degree criminal mischief; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, 1^st offense; and five counts of menacing.

Jeremy W. Williams, 45, Hudson, was indicted for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and three counts of menacing.

Ashley M. Moore, 33, Irvington, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense and 1^st degree promoting contraband.

Laura M. Schmidt, 45, Guston, was indicted for 1^st degree fleeing/evading police; 1^st degree wanton endangerment/police officer; obstructing governmental operations; 3^rd degree terroristic threatening; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, 1^st offense; three counts of harassing communications; and theft by unlawful taking/disposition of property.

Travis L. Dowell, 34, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense/enhanced and possession of marijuana.

Terrance S. Sweetman, 51, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 2^nd offense.

Bennie C. Phipps, 42, Irvington, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense/enhanced; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and tampering with physical evidence.

Adam B. Grimes, 32, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1^st degree criminal mischief; 1^st degree criminal mischief/tampering with key infrastructure assets; 1^st degree criminal trespass; and possession of burglary tools.

Cliff Pile, 42, Hudson, was indicted for 1^st degree criminal mischief.

Anthony D. Oxendine, 47, Sellersburg, IN, was indicted on eight counts of violation of trust provision pre-need payments for funeral services.
