VINE GROVE (02/07/26) — Kentucky State Police arrested a Vine Grove man in connection with a domestic violence incident from the weekend in Meade County. Troopers were called to a Dollar General location early Saturday morning where a victim stated she had been strangulated during an altercation and suffered an injury to a head after falling from a vehicle. The suspect, 48-year-old Donald Brown, fled to a residence on Jennings Knob Road and refused to exit. The Kentucky State Police Special Response Team responded and executed a search warrant at the residence. Brown was taken into custody later without further incident. He was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center on assault and strangulation charges.
