LEITCHFIELD (01/21/26) — A Grayson County man facing sentencing on rape and sexual abuse charges involving a juvenile who fled the country is back in Kentucky. William Lee “Scott” Carter of Millwood was arrested in 2023 following an investigation conducted by Kentucky State Police and reached a plea deal last year. However, Carter fled from the U.S. before September sentencing. Carter was located and taken into custody. On Wednesday, State Police brought Carter from Chicago back to the Grayson County Detention Center, where he will await sentencing.
