EDMONTON (01/14/26) — An elderly south central Kentucky couple were found shot inside a Metcalfe County home Wednesday morning. Responding to a residence near Metcalfe-Barren County line, State Police found 83-year-old Doris Huffman of Hardyville dead from an apparent gunshot wound. They also found her husband, 87-year-old Vander Huffman with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He died later at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. No other information was made available as an investigation is on-going.
