Breckinridge County Grand Jury

1/11/2026—The Breckinridge County Grand Jury met Friday, January 9, and returned ten indictments against nine individuals.

Ronald E. Shelton, 55, Irvington was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.

Ernie L. Dean III, 64, Harned, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense; 1^st degree promoting of contraband; and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

Michael H. Crowder, 35, Custer, was indicted on two counts of 1^st degree wanton endangerment and 1^st degree criminal mischief.

Christopher K. Logsdon, 52, Falls of Rough, was indicted for 1^st degree fleeing/evading police; theft by unlawful taking of a firearm; two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; tampering with physical evidence; two counts of discharge of a firearm across a public road; illegal take/pursue of deer/wild turkey; criminal littering; and defacing a firearm.

Carol A. Ford, 55, Garfield, was indicted on three counts of theft by unlawful taking/disposition of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000 and six counts of 3^rd degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Christopher D. Cundiff, 45, Hardinsburg was indicted for receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000.  In another case, he was indicted for kidnapping/adult; 2^nd degree assault/domestic violence; and 3^rd degree terroristic threatening.

Bryan K. Mitcham, 56, Irvington, was indicted for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 2^nd offense and tampering with physical evidence.

January E. Tyson, 44, Stephensburg, was indicted for 1^st degree criminal possession of a controlled substance(meth), 3^rd or greater offense and prescription controlled substance not in proper container, 1^st offense.

Morris D. Matthews, 46, Beattyville, was indicted for kidnapping/adult; 3^rd degree terroristic threatening; 4^th degree assault/domestic violence; and menacing.
