HARNED (01/05/26) — The BCHS Lady Tigers used a 15-0 run in the first and second quarters to take the lead against Grayson County Monday night in a 57-25 win at Tiger Arena. Elizabeth Grimes scored 15 of her team-leading 17 points in the second quarter as Breckinridge County improved to 9-4 on the season.

OWENSBORO (01/06/26) — The Fighting Tiger Basketball team is on the road tonight to face Daviess County in Owensboro. Coverage on 104.3, the River begins around 7:15 ahead of the scheduled 7:30 varsity game.

LOUISVILLE (01/05/26) — UofL Basketball coach Pat Kelsey said Monday that guard Mikel Brown Jr., who has missed the last four games with a lower-back injury, will not play tonight against Duke. Brown is averaging 16.6 points per game this season. The Cardinals have split the four games played during Brown’s injury.

UNDATED (01/05/26) — Three days after announcing his plan to enter the transfer portal, UofL running back Isaac Brown changed his mind and instead will return to the team for the 2026 season. Meanwhile, UK Football reportedly has picked up former Notre Dame quarterback Kenny Minchey from the transfer portal. Minchey had initially committed to Nebraska before deciding to switch.
