12/15/2025—The Cloverport City Council approved a Municipal Order appointing Kyle Brown and Marvin Myers to the Code Enforcement Board at their regular meeting Monday evening.
In other business, the Council approved a motion to purchase two dumpsters for $5,500.00. Public Works Director Eddie Lee said he has repaired several water leaks. As a result, the monthly water bill that Cloverport pays to the City of Hardinsburg has been reduced by $3,632.00. Austin Poole has been hired as a part-time employee.
The Council approved a motion to allow the Hardinsburg Fire Department to maintain the Cascade Air Tanks owned by the Cloverport Fire Department.
Sheriff Billy Richardson said his department received 40 calls for service in Cloverport in November.
Mayor Candy Weatherholt said she is working on obtaining funds to repair the sidewalk and adjacent grates on School House Hill.
The Council was informed that the garbage truck has been paid for.
The Council went in to executive session to discuss personnel but took no action.
