Joseph Randall Hardesty, 82 of Payneville, died Monday (12/08) at his residence. He is survived by two daughters: Lori Mattingly and Becky Claycomb; two sons: Bradley and Travis Hardesty; six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and three sisters: Faye Basham, Verna Allgier and Barbara Havill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Eastern Friday (12/12) morning at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Rhodelia. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg after 1 Eastern Thursday (12/11) afternoon with vigil services at 7 Eastern., Friends may also call at the church after 9 Eastern Friday morning. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Crusade for Children or to St. Theresa Family Life Center.
