UNDATED (12/01/25) — The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger and Lady Tiger Basketball teams opened their seasons on the road Monday night. The Tigers fell to Greenwood by the score of 83-67 while the Lady Tigers lost to Sacred Heart, 65-42. The Tigers’ next game is Thursday (12/04) at home against Ohio County, while the Lady Tigers host Cloverport Friday (12/05) afternoon as part of a girl-boy doubleheader at Tiger Arena.
LEXINGTON (12/01/25) — It only took a few hours for the University of Kentucky to find a new football head coach after formally dismissing Mark Stoops on Monday. Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein was named to the role. A UK fan growing up and later quarterback at Louisville Trinity High School, Stein walked on at UofL where eventually became a starter.
