ELIZABETHTOWN (11/14/25) — An Elizabethtown man was arrested last week for alleged physical abuse involving an infant. Hardin County Sheriff’s Detectives began an investigation in late October in coordination with Child Protective services. Over the past two weeks, investigators conducted interviews with the parents and medical professionals regarding the significant injuries sustained by the infant. As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Zachary Foster was charged with Criminal Abuse 1st Degree – Child 12 or Under. A court appearance is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
