LOUISVILLE (11/06/25) — Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg announced Thursday that another person injured in Tuesday’s UPS cargo plane crash died at UofL Hospital, increasing the death toll to 13. Greenberg also confirmed that nine people are still unaccounted for. A plane leaving the UPS Worldport hub at the Muhammahd Ali International Airport reportedly had an engine detach from the plane, causing it to crash, striking structures outside of the airport property. The impact of the aircraft left a debris field approximately 1/2 mile in length. The FBI is assisting the National Transportation Safety Board in the investigation.
