EKRON (11/03/25) — Kentucky State Police say a man wanted in connection to the murder of a Meade County woman on Monday has been found dead. Authorities had been searching for 45-year-old Scott Hornback of Irvington after 55-year-old Mary Crase was found shot to death in a residence on Simpson Lane in the Ekron community Monday afternoon. Authorities said Hornback was found dead late Monday night, but no other information was immediately released. An investigation into both incidents is on-going.
