Jesse James “Jimmy” Gilpin, 78 of Irvington,died Monday (10/27) in Elizabethtown. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; two stepchildren, Kevin Sipes of Floyd Knobs, IN, and Shea Sipes of Louisville as well as three step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday (11/01) afternoon at 1:30 Eastern time at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington with burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:30 Eastern Saturday morning. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
