Rita O’Reilly, age 83 of Hardinsburg, died October 21, 2025 at her residence. She is survived by 5 children: Danny O’Reilly, Mary Alice Basham, Rose Alexander and Loura O’Reilly of Hardinsburg, KY, Frances Froman of Brooks; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Joe Henning and Leo Henning of Shepherdsville; Aloysius Henning of Mississippi; 4 sisters: Martha Payne of Hardinsburg; Rosemary Spiller of Virginia; Laverne Maccabee of Louisville and Bernadette Arrant of Falls of Rough. Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM and Saturday after 8 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to St. Romuald School.
