Indiana authorities are investigating after a Santa Claus couple has died in a suspected murder-suicide. It happened Tuesday (10/14) around 12:15 pm.
Indiana State Police say 48 year-old Jamie Adkins called the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office, saying she had just shot her husband. Law enforcement was not able to make contact with Jamie when they arrived. When they got inside, authorities say they found the body of 49-year-old John Adkins with gunshot wounds. Troopers say Jamie was also found with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital, but died from her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
