A McDaniels woman was arrested Friday (10/10) and is facing drug charges in Ohio County after she was seen stumbling and falling in a parking lot.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, Martha Geary was seen stumbling and falling out of a vehicle in the parking lot of the Horse Branch Dollar General store around 6 pm Friday evening. The deputy, who observed Geary, spoke with her then conducted a search of her vehicle which resulted in about 6.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with marijuana, narcotic medication and an array of drug paraphernalia.
Geary was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense; trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense more than 2 grams of methamphetamine; prescription medication not in a proper container and possession of drug paraphernalia.
