LOUISVLLE (09/29/25) — Triple-A says gas prices in western Kentucky are nine cents cheaper than a week ago. The latest survey of prices shows the average at $2.69 per gallon. Their gas price website showed the Breckinridge County average at 2.63 per gallon. While demand increased and stock dropped, fuel supplies are beginning to switch to winter-blend gasoline production, which is cheaper to produce. The statewide average for basic unleaded is 2.80 per gallon.
