OWENSBORO (08/29/25) — A Daviess County woman who claimed to be the victim of an attack at a Whitesville business was arrested for faking the incident. 29-year-old Kylen Edge of Whitesville said she had been attacked at the Rooster’s Crow on Highway 54 on the afternoon of August 13th. However, the investigation failed to gain evidence to back up the allegations. This week, detectives interviewed Edge, who confessed the attack didn’t take place and she had faked her injuries. Edge was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident. The assault case has been closed.
