OWENSBORO (08/25/25) — A portion of the former Towne Square Mall in Owensboro will house an indoor entertainment facility. City and company officials announced Monday that Malibu Jack’s will open a facility in the building to include a go-kart track, laser tag, bowling lanes, miniature golf among other items. Construction and renovation of the property will begin immediately. The mall closed in September of 2023; since that time, a “Planet Fitness” location moved into a portion of the facility.
