LOUISVILLE (08/21/25) — UofL Basketball and Cincinnati are set to renew their long-time rivalry this upcoming season. The two teams are scheduled to meet November 21st at the Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. The teams are scheduled to meet again at Freedom Hall in the 2026-27 season.
UNDATED (08/21/25) — The Southeastern Conference will be moving to a nine-game league schedule beginning in 2026. The move was finalized by conference Presidents and Chancellors on Thursday after athletic directors recommended moving from an eight- to a nine-game format earlier this week. The SEC has played eight conference games each season since 1992 when the conference first expanded from 10 to 12 teams with the addition of Arkansas and South Carolina.
