JACKSON (08/18/25) — The Commonwealth’s Attorney for Breathitt County announced Monday morning that a woman charged in the death of her 10-year-old son earlier in the month has been indicted on a murder charge. Felicia Gross was also indicted for evidence and witness tampering, abuse of a corpse and falsely reporting an incident. The 33-year-old woman was arrested last week after the body of Jayden Spicer was found last week in a shallow grave after being reported missing the week before. Gross’ husband, Joshua, was also indicted on complicity charges as well as evidence tampering and abuse of a corpse. Felicia remains in jail on a million-dollar cash bond, while Joshua Gross had not been booked as of Monday morning.
