Three Area Employers Recognized By State For Workplace Safety

OWENSBORO (08/09/25) — Three area employers were among those recognized for workplace safety during the annual Governor’s Safety and Health Conference and Exposition held late last week in Owensboro. The trio were among nearly 50 from across Kentucky honored for hours worked without experiencing a workplace injury accident or illness resulting in lost time. Among the group were Meade County RECC with over 254-thousand hours, Mid-Park Metal Forming in Leitchfield with over 330-thousand and the Big Rivers Electric Wilson Station at Centertown in Ohio County with over one-point-seven million hours without an injury.
