Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1

7/23/2025—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.

William Burney, 50, pleaded not guilty to 2^nd degree assault/domestic violence; 2^nd degree strangulation; 3^rd degree terroristic threatening; and menacing.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for September 17.

Tracy L. Perks, 49, pleaded not guilty to 3^rd degree burglary and 1^st degree criminal mischief.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for September 17.

Trenton Z. Neal, 29, was sentenced to one year in prison for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 3^rd or greater offense.

Savyon N. Hamilton, 28, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property valued over $10,000; theft by unlawful taking/disposition of property valued between $10,000 and $1,000,000; 1^st degree criminal mischief; and possession of burglary tools.  Sentencing was scheduled for September 3.

Dakota J. Donahue, 19, was sentenced to five years in prison, probated for five years, for 2^nd degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

Rodney D. Jones, 55, was sentenced to fifteen years in prison conspiracy to commit murder, and 15 years for conspiracy kidnapping/victim death.  The sentences will run concurrently for a total of fifteen years.

Keith Lucas, 55, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for 2^nd degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one year for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.  The sentences will run concurrently for a total of ten years and probated for five years.  In another case, Lucas was sentenced to one year in prison, probated for three years, for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.
