Hazel Mae Hardesty, 82, of Union Star, died Sunday (07/20) at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Hurschel; two children: Dianna Cissell and David Buckel; three step-children: Terry and Barry Hardesty as well as Karen Dean; three sisters: Margaret Wyhlon, Dorothy Carr, and Betty Brown; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia at 11 Eastern Thursday (07/24) morning. Burial will follow in St. Theresa Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg after 4 Wednesday (07/23) afternoon with a prayer service at 6 Eastern. Visitation continues at the church after 9 Eastern Thursday morning.
