LEXINGTON (07/13/25) — Shootings near Lexington’s Bluegrass Airport and a nearby church on Sunday left two women dead, three people wounded- among them a State Police Trooper and the alleged gunman shot to death. The incident Sunday morning near the Airport when the suspect, later identified by media outlets as Guy House, wounded the trooper during a traffic stop. House fled to the Richmond Road Baptist Church where he shot and killed two women and wounded two others. House was later shot by police and died at the scene. The shootings remain under investigation.
