LOUISVILLE (07/14/25) — The FBI has announced it’s offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of the father of Crystal Rogers back in 2016. Tommy Ballard was preparing for a hunting trip with his grandson when he was shot and killed. Ballard created Team Crystal, a group in Bardstown dedicated to finding his daughter. The offer comes after Rogers’ at-the-time boyfriend, Brooks Houck, was convicted of murder/principal or accomplice, Two of his employees, Steven and Joseph Lawson, were convicted of conspiracy to commit murder in connection to her death in 2015.
