TELL CITY, In. (06/29/25) — Members of Perry County, Indiana’s law enforcement community came together to show support for the wife of a deputy. A Facebook post to the Sheriff’s Department page noted that Deputy Reece Hendershot’s wife, Meredith, had recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and has been undergoing treatment. Members of the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and Tell City and Cannelton Police Departments shaved their heads in a show of support.
