FALLS OF ROUGH (06/20/25) — A Grayson County man has been arrested after allegedly holding a Realtor at knifepoint over a contract for a house he wanted to get for his niece. A bloody and bruised man arrived at the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, saying he was assaulted. Authorities said the victim was showing the house in the Falls of Rough area when the suspect, 71-year-old Keith S. Rowe. locked the door and shortly thereafter began assaulting him, demanding he write up a contract and sign the home over to him. The victim eventually escaped and notified authorities. Rowe later presented himself to authorities and acknowledged most of the details of the incident. He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on charges of robbery, assault, kidnapping and terroristic threatening.
