BOWLING GREEN (06/18/25) — Two men charged in the suspected death of Bardstown resident Crystal Rogers nearly a decade ago have been transferred to a Bowling Green jail ahead of their trial next week. Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson were booked into the Warren County Regional Jail next week ahead of the trial scheduled to start Tuesday. Houck- Rogers’ former boyfriend- is charged with complicity murder while Lawson is charged with conspiracy to murder. Lawson’s father was convicted on a conspiracy charge last month. The trials were moved from Nelson County to Bowling Green to seek impartial juries. The presiding judge also barred recording or other electronic devices from the courtroom for the trials.
