EVELEIGH (06/06/25) — State Transportation officials have re-opened the Kentucky Highway 259 bridge over Rough River at Eveleigh, but some additional work needs to be completed. The bridge was closed earlier this year, but reopened last week. The District 4 office in E’town posted work on bridge ends still has to be finished when resurfacing of 259 takes place and the bridge deck still has to be sealed, which result in temporary blockages as the contractor completes the project.
