OWENSBORO (06/0725) — The National Weather Service in Paducah confirmed a small tornado touched down Saturday afternoon in Owensboro. The tornado was rated an EF-0 with peak winds of 85 miles per hour. Officials say the twister developed along Frederica Street and travelled about two miles. Several stores in the area and a billboard were damaged. No injuries were reported.
