CYNTHIANA (06/08/25) — Kentucky State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Harrison County from Sunday. Troopers were called to a residence near Cynthiana where 50-year-old Ramon Morales had left the scene just before police arrived. He was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident before returning back to the initial scene. During an interaction with Morales, a trooper discharged his agency-issued firearm, striking Morales, who died later at a nearby hospital. No officers were during the incident.
