LEBANON (06/07/25) — A Marion County man was killed in an accident near Lebanon Saturday morning. Kentucky State Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that 26-year-old Justin Baron of Loretto, was traveling west on US 68 at the intersection with the Lebanon Bypass when he attempted a turn at a high rate of speed and collided with a vehicle stopped at the intersection driven by 55-year-old William Norris of Loretto. Norris was pronounced dead at the scene, a passenger in his vehicle was treated for minor injuries. Baron was treated and released for minor injuries then lodged in the Marion County Detention on charges related to an incident prior to the wreck, with charges relating to the accident expected to be filed.
