
UPDATED (06/03/25) — A search for a missing Indiana man ended Monday with his location. A “Silver Alert” had been issued for 19-year-old Nikhil “Nick” Sood who was last seen Monday afternoon in Perry County. Officials expressed concern with Sood described as having special needs. Authorities found him Tuesday afternoon in an area south of the Anderson Woods Summer Camp. He was taken to a hospital for treatment but is expected to be OK.

TELL CITY, In. (06/02/25) — Rescue teams are actively searching for a missing 19-year-old man in Perry County who is believed to be in danger. Nikhil Sood is described as 5′ 10” tall , 200 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen Monday afternoon wearing a light blue t-shirt, swimming trunks and white sandals. The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said Monday they were canvassing the area near the Anderson Woods Summer Camp. Sheriff Alan Malone told media outlets in Evansville that Sood has special needs. Indiana State Police have issued a statewide “Silver Alert” for Sood. Anyone with information on his whereabout is urged to call the Perry County Sheriff’s Office or Indiana State Police.
