JEFFERSONTOWN (05/27/25) — Kentucky State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Jefferson County from Tuesday: Jeffersontown Police had received multiple calls about a man breaking out car windows and acting strange. An off-duty officer who lived nearby got word of the situation and confronted the man. During the incident, the officer shot and killed the suspect. The name of the officer and suspect were not immediately released.
