WHITESVILLE (05/27/25) — Leland Board drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 9th to bring home the winning run as Breckinridge County topped Owensboro Catholic, 4-3, Wednesday night in the Region Baseball Tournament at Whitesville. The Tigers will play Meade in the championship game this evening with coverage on 104.3, the River beginning just before six. The Greenwaves advanced to the final with an 11-0 win over Owensboro last night.
HARNED (05/27/25) — Members of the BCHS Track team are preparing for the Class 2A State Championships in Lexington this weekend. Will Mitcham qualified for discus, while Hadley Priest qualified in discus and shot put. The Boys 4-by-100 relay team, along with the girls 4-by- 100, 200, 400 and 800 relays team are also competing.
