HARDINSBURG (05/14/25) — Breckinridge County Schools responded to a reported social media threat. The district issued a statement late Tuesday reporting a suspected post to Snapchat by a middle school student. The district along with the Sheriff’s Department worked quickly and identified the student with appropriate action taken with no threat to students and staff. The statement by Superintendent Dr. Nick Carter urges parents and guardians to encourage responsible use of social media by students.
