Former Owensboro Superintendent Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison

LOUISVILLE (05/08/25) — A former Superintendent of the Owensboro Public Schools was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for numerous child sexual exploitation offenses, the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky announced on Thursday. According to court documents, 53-year-old Matthew Constant, 53, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison followed by a life term of supervised release for two counts of online enticement of a minor, three counts of receipt of child pornography, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of transferring obscene material to a minor. There is no parole in the federal system.
