
FRANKFORT (05/06/25) — Authorities in Franklin County have released the names of the two teenagers killed in a housefire last week of which father is now accused of setting.
County Coroner Will Harrod’s office positively identified the bodies of the two individuals recovered from the April 30 house fire on Flat Creek Road as Bently Maxwell Fields, 13, and Rylan Austin Fields, 15.
Their father, Dustin Fields, 44, was arrested and charged with first-degree arson, a Class A felony that carries a penalty of 20 years to life in prison, if convicted.
He is lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail on a $2 million bond.
