
5/7/2025-Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.
Kristopher Quiggins, 39, pleaded not guilty to flagrant non-support. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 9.
Peggy L. Vergason, 62, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 2nd offense. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 9.
James David Martin, 54, pleaded guilty to theft by deception/cold checks valued between $1,000 and $10,000. Sentencing was scheduled for June 18.
Leonardo S. Marrero, 31, pleaded not guilty to engaging in organized crime/criminal syndicate and theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 9.
Joe A. Phillips, 34, pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. In another case, he pleaded guilty to two counts of 3rd degree burglary; receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $1,000; possession of burglary tools; resisting arrest; two counts of 3rd degree criminal mischief; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender. Sentencing was scheduled for June 18.
Eric Smith, 53, and Stevin Smith, 24, each pleaded guilty to two counts of 2nd degree burglary; receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $1,000; possession of burglary tools; and 3rd degree criminal mischief. In another case, they pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. Sentencing was scheduled for June 18.
James C. Armes, 31, was sentenced to five years in prison for attempted kidnapping/adult and 1st degree wanton endangerment. The sentences were probated for five years.
Curtis W. Lanham, 61, was sentenced to three years in prison for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense and 45 days for possession of marijuana. The sentences will run concurrently and probated for three years.
Brandon G. Wilson, 38, was sentenced to five years in prison for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense/enhanced; and two years for 1st degree promoting contraband and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. The sentences will run consecutively for a total of nine years and probated for five years.
Tyler W. Corbin, 24, was sentenced to five years in prison for receiving stolen property valued over $10,000 and two years for 1st degree criminal mischief. In another case, he was sentenced to two years in prison for 2nd degree fleeing/evading police. In another case, he was sentenced to two years in prison for 1st degree wanton endangerment and 90 days for theft by unlawful taking of gasoline. The sentences will run concurrently for a total of five years.
Probation was revoked for Rodney Triplett, 44 and James L. Hines, 48.
