MAUCKPORT, In. (04/30/25) — Indiana Department of Transportation officials are planning bridge inspections next week on the Matthew Welsh Bridge between Brandenburg and Mauckport, Indiana. The review is scheduled to begin Monday southbound lanes, followed by northbound lanes the following day, which will result in lane closures both days. Officials are hoping to get the project done in the first two days. Drivers using Kentucky 79 and Indiana 135 should proceed with caution those two days.
