
4/23/2025—Division 2 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Kenneth H. Goff II met Wednesday.
Jerrilee V. Povesis, 52, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property valued over $10,000; obscuring the identity of a machine over $10,000; and 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 18.
Julio M Ceballos, 53, pleaded not guilty to two counts of attempted murder of first responder/peace officer; two counts of attempted murder/domestic violence; being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun; being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm; and three counts of 2nd degree cruelty to animals. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 18.
Adam T. Basham, 48, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 18.
The Court deferred prosecution for two years for Jackie J. Dewitt, 45. Dewitt is charged with 1st degree possession of an unspecified drug, 1st offense; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; and contempt of court. In another case, Dewitt pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; tampering with physical evidence; and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Sentencing was scheduled for May 21.
Britteny L. Hampton, 39, pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. Sentencing was scheduled for May 21.
Travis A. Rowland, 33, was entered in the pre-trial diversion program for 18 months, diverted for three years, for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.
Isaiah N. Burgin, 21, was granted diversion for three years, diverted for five years, for 2nd degree strangulation.
James C. Waddell, 26, was sentenced to prison for five years for theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $10,000 and $1,000,000, and one year for 3rd degree burglary. The sentences will run concurrently for a total of five years.
Albert Armes, 55, pleaded guilty to theft by failure to make required disposition of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000; and two counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition/all others. In another case, Armes pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $10,000 and $1,000,000 and 3rd degree burglary. In another case, Armes pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. Sentencing was scheduled for May 21.
Robert T. Eldridge, 46, was sentenced to three years in prison, probated for five years, for flagrant non-support.
Sean Renfrow, 25, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 18.
